Easdale on a cloudy afternoon.
The egg in the foreground was probably dropped by its thief as it looks like an Oyster Catcher egg and they were nested only 20 or so metres from this location at Easdale village, close to the small island on the Isle of Seil.
The bar on the other side of this small bay sells some nice craft beers and you can sit out back and watch the day go by.
I think this is possibly the closest island to the Scottish mainland as the bridge that reaches it is very small and aptly named “The bridge over the Atlantic”
Worth the drive out here as some of the views are quite stunning.
